All mammographic x-ray systems used in the NHSBSP are subject to regular testing by physicists. This report presents an analysis by the National Coordinating Centre for the Physics of Mammography and the NHSBSP National Coordinating Group for Breast Screening Physics of one set of results collected on each of the mammographic systems in the NHSBSP in 2000/2001. The performance of systems is compared with established standards.
