Age Extension Pilot Study

The breast screening age extension pilots were set up to investigate the practicalities of inviting women aged 47-49 and 71-73 using randomisation. All pilot sites coped well with the extra work.

Here is the final report of the pilot study.

This has now proceeded into a full randomised control trial and will involve more than 70 units throughout the country.
