A knowledge management approach
This project was carried out in collaboration with the Warwickshire, Solihull and Coventry Breast Screening Unit, one of the largest screening services in the UK. In collaboration with the Unit, an Artificial Intelligence Attendance (AI-ATT) algorithm was developed within the Biomedical Computing and Engineering Technologies (BIOCORE) Applied Research Group, Coventry University, for the prediction of attendance to the breast screening programme (starting from the second episode). The aim was to integrate a new algorithm, "Java-based Attendance prediction by Artificial Intelligence for Breast Screening (JAABS)" within the Unit in order to streamline and automate the invitation process and so increase screening attendance.
